These newsletters are stories and photos created by the high school students in J'nee Reade's Writing for Media class. Writing for Media is a journalism style class. This class is different from all other classes. If you could compare it to another class it would be similar to Yearbook. The people in the class learn about all types of media. They will learn skills about writing different types of media and how to create their own stories.

Some types are magazine covers, advertising, TV news, radio new, film study and so much more. The class learns about media literacy. This is being able to  access, analyze, evaluate and create media in a variety of forms. A guest from the Gazette will come and give the students advice and tips. Mrs. Reade will send pieces of work from the students to the Gazette and they will look through the pieces. If one or two are really good they will put it in the Gazette.
